Parma goalkeeper Luca Bucci will be out for six weeks
after fracturing his rib during the UEFA Cup victory in Russia.

The veteran shot-stopper started last night's 1-0 away win
to Rubin Kazan, but was stretchered off when he violently clattered
into the upright during the first half.

Tests have now confirmed he fractured a rib and
will be out of action for a minimum of 40 days in order to recover.

Bucci was Parma's first choice goalkeeper last season,
but this term is used primarily in the UEFA Cup and Coppa Italia.

Young talent Alfonso De Lucia will pull on the gloves against Milan
this Sunday evening, while Igor Budan is expected to start upfront
after Zlatan Muslimovic also picked up an injury,
in this case a right thigh muscular problem.
