Palermo defender Cristian Zaccardo has praised his teammates
for their impressive start to the campaign,
although he is not thinking about the Scudetto.
The Islanders are top of the table with Inter on 18 points and
Zaccardo was a key man in the derby with Messina, scoring the goal
which allowed Palermo to fight back and win the match.
Palermo目前與 Inter同積１８分在義甲領跑，
Zaccardo在與 Messina的德比戰中進球幫助球隊取勝。
“I'm very happy with how things are going – so far this has been
the best season in my career,” said Zaccardo, who also netted last week
in the UEFA Cup against Eintracht Frankfurt.
上週在聯盟盃對 Frankfurt也有進球的 Zaccardo說：
「我非常高興事情的進展－－本季至今算是我職業生涯中最好的一個。」
“I am pleased with our performances and I hope we will continue this way.
「我很滿意我們的表現，希望我們能繼續下去。」
“However, it's inappropriate to talk about the Scudetto
because we are only at the start of the season.
「不過現在就談論聯賽冠軍不太恰當，賽季不過剛開始。」
“We have always said that our main objective is fourth place and
that is still true, although we are obviously glad to be on top,”
he continued.
「我們總說主要目標是前四名，這仍是事實，儘管我們明顯樂於位處頭名。」
“We were lucky in Wednesday's derby with Messina,
but it also proved that we are working well.
「我們週三德比對 Messina一戰有些幸運，不過這證明我們運作得不錯。」
“The next match away to Fiorentina represents a difficult game for us,
as the Viola are a very strong team.
「接下要客場對 Fiorentina，對我們還說這場不好打，他們是隻很強的球隊。」
“I don't think it's a crucial clash, but if we were to obtain
another positive result it would make us even more aware of our potential
and our strength,” concluded Zaccardo.
「我不認為這是決定性的比賽，不過如果我們獲得正面的賽果，
就能讓我們更體認到自己的潛力與長處。」
