Genoa bring in Bovo

Serie A new boys Genoa are taking shape after snapping up
former Roma defender Cesare Bovo in a co-ownership deal.
The ex-Under-21 international was under contract with Palermo,
but this evening the Sicilians sold half his registration to Genoa
for an undisclosed sum.
Bovo spent half of last season on loan at Torino, scoring one goal
in seven appearances, and has also played for Roma, Parma and Lecce
in his career. He has signed a five-year deal with the Grifone.
The 24-year-old is Genoa's first reinforcement in defence,
having handed Domenico Criscito to Juventus.
Another arrival at the club is Ndiaye Papa Waigo,
the Senegalese hitman who signed from Cesena.
“To wear the Genoa jersey is just fantastic,”
said the 23-year-old as he underwent a medical.
