Lazio chief Claudio Lotito has declared that he considers the signing
of goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo crucial.

The Argentine completed his move on Thursday and will replace veteran
custodian Angelo Peruzzi, who quit football at the end of the last season.
這位阿根廷人在週日完成轉會，將取代退休的 Peruzzi。
“The goalkeeper was crucial for our strategies. Now however we will have
to consider selling some players if we want to continue buying,”
said the President.
Lotito 說：「這名門將在我們的戰略中至關重要，
然而現在我們要考慮出售部分球員了，如果還打算繼續引援的話。」
“After Peruzzi's retirement we needed a new man between the posts
who had to be reliable and also give guarantees for the future.”
「Peruzzi 退休之後我們需要一個能信任也能擔保未來的新門將。」
The 22-year-old Carrizo, who reportedly cost Lazio ￡5m,
was a reported target for Manchester United and Manchester City as well,
but was pleased to join the Serie A outfit.
２２歲的 Carrizo 據報轉會費是５ｍ英鎊。
“I wanted Lazio and Lazio wanted me and they showed it
by carrying out a lengthy and difficult negotiation,” said the youngster.
“Now I hope to repay the confidence they showed in me.”
他說：「我跟 Lazio 兩情相悅，他們完成冗長且困難的談判展現了心意，
現在我希望能回報他們對我表示的信任。」
