Sampdoria have swooped to sign Uruguay rising star Bruno Fornaroli
on a co-ownership deal from Ncional Montevideo.

Fornaroli is regarded as one of South America’s most promising
forwards at present, scoring 15 goals in the Uruguayan Clausura, placing
him third in the Tabla de Goleadores (goalscoring standings).
The 20-year-old has been linked with a host of top European clubs,
including Lazio, Napoli, Tottenham Hotspur, PSV Eindhoven, and even Real
Madrid.
However, it is Sampdoria who have won the race for his services,
paying Nacional €3m for half of the striker’s contract.
El Tuna passed a medical examination with the Blucerchiati this
morning, before signing on the dotted line, and he will be officially
presented as a Sampdoria player in Genoa tomorrow.
El Tuna will then join the rest of his team-mates in their pre-season
training camp of Moena. The starlet should form a rather exciting looking
forward partnership this season with Antonio Cassano.
