Siena Sign ‘Colombian Cafu’

Siena have completed the shock signing of Atletico Nacional rising
star Juan Camilo Zuniga, described by many as the ‘Colombian Cafu’.
The Tuscan outfit, who had a magnificent second half to the season
last campaign to avoid relegation, have been reasonably busy in the
transfer market this summer.
Having already announced the captures of Barusso (Roma), Belmonte
(Bari), Brandao (Belenenses), Curci (Roma), Calaio (Napoli), Del Prete
(Juventus), and Kharja (Piacenza), the minnows have now added another
name to this list.
Twenty-two-year-old Colombian right back Juan Camilo Zuniga is rated
as one of South America’s best young talents, and he has earned himself
comparisons to legendary Brazilian star Cafu.
Zuniga, who has played twice for his country, has been attracting
interest from a host of bigger clubs such as Boca Juniors and Palermo,
however it is Siena who have nipped in for a surprise swoop.
The deal was all done and dusted between Siena and Nacional last
night, and Zuniga will arrive in Italy within the next 48 hours to
undergo a routine medical.
