Capuano: I Want To Stay, But I Need To Play

Palermo defender Ciro Capuano has made it clear that even though he
wants to remain in Sicily, he will only do so if he is guaranteed to
play more in the upcoming season.
Capuano is one of the Rosanero players rumoured to be on his way out
of the club after failing to be part of coach Stefano Colantuono's plans
in the latter part of last season.
This was confirmed by the player who admitted he thought about leaving,
even though his wish is to stay.
"Well I did have a thought, because after five months of inactivity I
need to play," declared the defender during a press conference from Bad
Kleinkircheim.
"Let's see, because I'm fine here at Palermo. I hope to be part of this
group, but especially to be part of Zamparini's project.
"It's normal that there are transfer rumours: it's the football world
and it's absolutely understandable that after five months without playing,
a player is rumoured to be on his way out.
"It's happening to me, just like it is happening to Bresciano, Caserta
and Guana according to the newspapers."
