Fiorentina and Italy striker Alberto Gilardino became a nation's hero
when he netted a hat-trick of goals to save the Azzurri from an embarrassing
defeat.

Despite being 2-0 down to Cyprus until the 77th minute, Italy completed
an incredible late comeback to win 3-2 thanks to a hat-trick by Alberto
Gilardino at the Ennio Tardini stadium of Parma.

The Azzurri's striker talked about his performance, and particularly about
his third goal, which he thinks may actually have been scored by Fabio
Quagliarella.
