AC Milan striker Marco Borriello admits he is slowly rediscovering his best
form after being plagued by injury problems last season and aims to continue
his progress in the new year.

The Neapolitan hitman played only eight games in all competitions in 2008-09,
but his fortunes seem to have turned of late and he has been instrumental
in the Rossoneri’s revival after a disappointing start to the season.

“2009 started badly, but things are now getting better and better,”
Borriello told the Milan Channel.

“As a team, we achieved important targets. We went through in the Champions

Milan are back in action on Wednesday when they welcome Borriello’s former
club Genoa to San Siro.
