AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo has insisted that his flirtation with
Premier League giants Chelsea is in the past and he plans to see out his
playing days at the Stadio San Siro.

The Italy international seemed on the verge of leaving the Serie A side
last summer to reunite with former Diavoli boss Carlo Ancelotti at Stamford
Bridge.

But a move eventually failed to materialize and Pirlo is now hoping to sign
a new contract to stay in Italy’s fashion capital beyond 2011 when his
current deal will expire.
