Italian Football Association (FIGC) vice-president Demetrio Albertini has
criticised the state of Italy's stadiums as he believes they are out of date.

"I think that fields and stadiums need to be upgraded or built, regardless
of the fact Italy will bid to host the Euro 2016 Championships," he
explained to La Repubblica.
(我認為球場品質必須要提高，這有助申辦2016歐洲盃)
"It is necessary for the future of Italian football."
(對義大利足球的未來而言是必要的)
Many have also slammed the FIGC for Serie A's extended winter break, but
the 38-year-old once again blamed the stadiums, that are unable to withstand
the harsh weather conditions during that period.
(有人抨擊義足協延長冬歇，但Albertini再次表示是因為球場抵擋不了這時期的氣候)
"People always say it is the fault of millionaire footballers who want to
go on holiday, but we forget that this stop is forced, partly because of
inadequate facilities," he continued.
