Lippi to recall Borriello and Nesta http://www.football-italia.net/feb27f.html Saturday 27 February, 2010 Marcello Lippi is set to name several newcomers for the friendly with Cameroon, including Marco Borriello and the return of Alessandro Nesta. Italy take on the African nation on Wednesday evening in Monaco and Lippi will release his squad on Sunday. This game will also mark the unveiling of the new kit for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Milan star Borriello is almost certain for a recall, while the Coach has hinted that veteran Nesta has agreed to come out of international retirement for the tournament. The Azzurri will be without Vincenzo Iaquinta, Mauro Camoranesi, Gigi Buffon, Gianluca Zambrotta, Giuseppe Rossi, Alberto Gilardino, Alessandro Gamberini and Salvatore Bocchetti. An important test for the National team in light of the World Cup that will be played in June in South Africa. The Azzurri will meet on Monday, March 1st, in Coverciano: at 1:15 pm the new Puma shirt will be presented and in the afternoon, at 3:30 pm, the National team will have their first training session.
