Claudio Ranieri is back in work again, having been confirmed today as
the new Coach of the Greek national team.
The 62-year-old was released by Monaco at the end of last season and
had been increasingly linked with the Greece post following Fernando Santos'
exit after the 2014 World Cup.
"Claudio Ranieri signed a two-year contract with the Greek Football
Federation and is the new coach of the national team," the Greek
Football Federation have stated on their website on Friday.
"The Italian Coach, with service at many major European clubs, is expected
to lead our group to new successes with Euro 2016 on the horizon."
Ranieri, who has coached the likes of Napoli, Fiorentina, Parma, Juventus,
Roma and Inter in Italy, takes on a 15th managerial role.
