Rick Ankiel is set to begin a 30-day rehab assignment at Single-A
Palm Beach.''He's going to work his way up,'' GM Walt Jocketty said.
''Physically he's 100 percent and his arm is very strong. Everything
else has been good as well. His command is there.'' Manager Tony La Russa
said that Ankiel, who had Tommy John surgery a year ago, will join
the Cardinals when rosters expand in September.
