ST. LOUIS -- Even with the designated hitter option available for next week's
Interleague series against the White Sox and Tigers, if Albert Pujols could
play, the Cardinals slugger said he will play only one position.
"I won't DH," Pujols said. "If I play, I will play first."
就算是在接下來的跨聯盟比賽中有DH這個選擇
如果Pujols能上場
他也只會接受一壘手這個位置
Cardinals manager Tony La Russa echoed similar sentiments.
"He would sit around and stiffen up, unless he rides the bike a lot," La
Russa said.
