"Instead of just having [Chris] Carpenter and [Anthony] Reyes, we now have Carpenter, Wells and Reyes." 由此看來，07年在 140mL還沒回來之前 Wainwright是不大可能拉到 rotation裡面起碼還得頂好一陣子的 closer 目前只有 No.1、4、5已經定位定好了剩下的兩個洞，要等在 Orlando舉行的 Winter meeting後才能曉得會找到哪２個人來補至於 Suppan和 Weaver兩人，都尚在和他們的經紀人談判中不過大掌櫃頗為樂觀，認為至少能留住他們其中的一個我自己推測應該會是 Weaver留下來 Mulder的去留也要再看看和經紀人再次會談以後的結果如何另外，大掌櫃也放出一點風聲，說他對 Schmidt和 Zito有興趣 @o@ 不過老施看起來會是比較優先的選擇 The Cardinals have roughly $15-20 million remaining in their budget to address the starting rotation, plus any other tweaks they may want to make.
