The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired forward/center Dwayne Jones from the Boston Celtics in exchange for guard/forward Luke Jackson and cash considerations, Genernal Manager Danny Ferry announced today. He played in 26 games for the Florida Flame of the D-League and led the league in rebounds per game (11.7) and offensive rebounds per game (4.5) and rankes second in blocks per game (2.04) to go along with 8.9 points in 31.1 minutes per game. Jones, 23, played three seasons at St. Joseph's and was the Atlantic 10 defensive player of the year and a Second Team All-Conference Selection as a junior. He led the Atlantic 10 in blocks each of his three seasons.
