經過三天的訓練營後，騎士隊展開第一次分邊對抗賽。整場比賽沒有太多的激情，最後結果由擁有LBJ的紅隊（Wine）以67:44獲勝。「今天大家差強人意」教頭說「正如我們所期待，不少問題在季初浮現了出來」。 The good James looked to be near midseason form, showing excellent energy and ath leticism.
