前面文章講美式足球 ... About the Cavs: During their off-season meetings, the Cavaliers have targeted three basic needs: 1) More big men. 2) A shooting guard with size. 3) A backup point guard. The big men and wing player are the most pressing, and the Cavs know it. Just because they won an NBA-best 66 games and advanced to the Eastern Conference finals, they have no intention of sticking with the same basic roster. Or keep Williams in the lineup and make West substitute because he's a better all-around guard than Williams and can play both backcourt spots. The third guard is Daniel Gibson, who had a very iffy season. Odds are Sasha Pavlovic will be traded, or at least won't be back. He's a legitimate 6-6, an above -average defender who has shot between 39 and 44 percent from 3-point range over the last three seasons with Toronto. He's a 11.8 scorer for the Raptors , 13.5 points while averaging 39 minutes in 11 post-season games. The Cavs tried to sign Parker in the summer of 2006 when he came back from playing overseas, but were out-bid by Toronto. The only downside is he'll he 34 on June 19. He's s long 6-8, a good defender whom some scouts compared to Shane Battier in terms of "doing little things to help you win." He wants to return to the NBA, but is a restricted free agent. That means the Hawks can match any offer he receives. He has some nagging injuries, but one theory is coming to a contending team in the same division as Detroit could inspire him. Hickson continue to develop. The Cavs say Hickson's cranky back is not an issue, but he was not able to practice 100 percent since March. He was physically unable to play during the postseason, and they are going to rest his condition (a bruised tailbone and spine) for another month.
