He was traded to the Hawks on Feb. 8 and waived. The Cavs had to fill one of two open roster spots by league rule. They were carrying 13 roster players for the last two weeks, and had to add a 14th player. White's signing was first reported by Yahoo Sports. Cleveland has a rash of injuries, though none are long term. Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, Larry Nance Jr. and Rodney Hood could all rejoin the team as early as this week. All of them, as well as Cedi Osman, should certainly be back before the playoffs start.
