真是氣死人，乾脆忍一個球季然後去帶拓邊球隊算了。 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- We know of no other reasonable explanation for Carlisle's dismissal from Detroit last week, after a pair of 50-victory seasons and a superb job in the postseason that included an undressing of Larry Brown -- the man who replaces him -- in the second round. What has followed, of course, is a shameless character assassination of the guy by the Pistons through the Detroit media and no one speaking up for the coach. The latest one circulating is a riot. It is about how management (meaning, the ambitious, viper-like team president Tom Wilson, the guy with enough clout to run Isiah Thomas out of town) being angry that Carlisle invited Larry Bird to watch a practice early this season. If true, it just shows how ignorant management can be, because this goes on all the time, and any team should be flattered to have Bird sit in and advise. Of course Carlisle is not perfect -- he knows that. He knows he needs to soften up a bit, show his compassionate side a little more often, learn to hug some guys.
