Hunter's licence
Some people, Ainge included, have questioned why it took so long for Hunter
to receive more playing time this year. Carroll insists that the co
aching staff knew exactly what it was doing.
``You could make the argument that the coaches
who have worked with him this season were
astute enough to make that decision,'' Carroll said. ``I understand t
he question, but some people have to look at it deeper, and realize that
people like (former coach) Jim O'Brien [news] and myself had made t
he decision earlier that he wasn't ready to make that quantum leap.''
