Celtics討論了一些球隊事務 ---- It was a self-evaluation meeting,’’ guard Delonte West said. ‘ It was a behind-closed-doors thing, but it was very positive. We need to find our direction again. From back in the season, I think we forgot what our motive is and how we’re going to play every night. But it was positive. Guys had their say about what they think they can do better, and we came out and practiced harder than we have since training camp Now we’re looking forward to a win (tonight).’’ According to the players, they were encouraged to air problems and offer suggestions, with bosses on hand to listen and join in the talk. I think it was good because instead of us talking privately amongst ourselves one-on-one, we spoke it out in front of everyone,’’ Ryan Gomes said. ‘‘Danny Ainge and the whole coaching staff was there, and we got some good things out. It was all positive stuff. It was good that they hear what we think is causing us to lose games. Doc Rivers had his notepad out. You can find a lot out if they’re honest,’’ he said. ‘‘This was good. Guys were very honest. . . . Well, we called them on it, so they had to be. A lot of them kept saying, ‘I keep forgetting the rotation,’ and one of the veterans said, ‘Well, how many more times do we have to go over it?’ That’s the way it went. Guys were saying how every game, there’s one or two or three things they forget, and I told them to add all that up and you’ve got 30 or 40 mistakes a game.’’ The matter, according to Gomes, is in the hands of those on the floor. We need to take it upon ourselves as players to improve as a team,’’ he said. ‘‘The coaches can only do so much. We’ve got to come in and get extra shots and run extra sprints.
