Silas has been in the NBA G-League since the 2011-12 season, most recently a m
ember of the Northern Arizona Suns. He is averaging 18.4 points on 38% from th
ree this season on 9.4 attempts per game.
The 30-year-old shooting guard from Northern Illinois has only played in two g
ames in his NBA career, those coming in 2011 with the Philadelphia 76ers. Unle
ss Silas plays well enough to make the Celtics waive one of their current play
ers on the roster, it is likely that he will not be a member of the team once
the regular season ends.
