Charlton-Carlton agreement concluded

Chelsea can confirm an amicable agreement has been reached with
Charlton Athletic over the non-loan of Carlton Cole or any other player
in the wake of Scott Parker coming to Chelsea.
Media reports, however, that the agreement is ￡1.5m are absurd.
Scott Parker came to Chelsea in January for ￡10m and Charlton felt
they had an agreement by which they could have first option on Carlton or
another Chelsea loanee as part of the agreement.
