Dean Kenneally has started. His responsibility is the performance side of sports medicine, so he will be with the first team on matchdays and will be available for all injuries as they happen. Dean Kenneally負責運動醫學方面的工作,會跟隨ㄧ隊在比賽日時隨時待命. Australian Dean has spent a lot of time working in track and field athletics, but over the last year has been at Tottenham. Dean是澳洲人,與田徑選手工作多年,但去年在熱刺隊服務.(又是熱刺!) Thierry Laurent is joining to focus on rehabilitation of players. His matchday involvement will be governed by the requirements of injured players. Thierry Laurent專責球員復健工作. Thierry has worked with the French national team, going back to their heyday in 1998-2000, and starts on August 1st. Thierry服務於法國國家隊,八月一日開始上班. Mike Banks will now be responsible for the reserve team players both on matchdays and for rehabilitation. Mike Banks負責預備隊球員的復健和比賽日的醫護. Former reserve team physio Andy Rolls has left and is now first team physio at Watford. 前任預備隊醫生目前任職於Watford. Alberto Andorlini who did physiotherapy and massage has also left to return to Italy. Rob Brinded continues with his conditioning rehabilitation work, and the three masseurs, Billy McCulloch, Stuart Sullivan and Mauro Doimi are joined by Pedro Phillipou, a Cypriot masseur who also has some sporting physiotherapy skills. He’ll be working predominantly with the reserves but covering Bryan as well. Ian McCurdie will provide two sessions a week for players on rehabilitation. He has army experience from Headley Court. 第三位醫生是Ian McCurdie,負責球員復健. Bryan says: “We will have the best medical department in the UK when all are on board and by structuring it this way, we have three people who are dedicated solely to rehabilitation, Thierry, Rob and Ian. That means the recovering players will always have the best treatment available. That leaves others like Dean and myself to concentrate on performance first.
