Norwegian referee Terje Hauge has been appointed to take charge of
Chelsea's UEFA Champions League home leg against Barcelona.

Hauge has refereed Chelsea twice before, both occasions at Stamford
Bridge, both Chelsea wins. He officiated the 2-0 victory over Lazio in the
group stage two seasons ago when goals from Frank Lampard and Adrian Mutu
overcame a first-half opener by the Italians. Earlier this season he
refereed the 4-0 victory over Real Betis when Drogba, Carvalho, Joe Cole
and Crespo were on target.

Hauge also refereed Barcelona's away game against Werder Bremen in
September when he awarded the Spanish side a penalty in a 2-0 win. He took
charge of one of the legs of last season's semi-final between AC Milan and
PSV Eindhoven.
