The versatile defender suffered the injury in the first-half against Middlesbrough ten days ago. With just over twenty-four hours to go before the big European kick-off, Mourinho announced: “Gallas cannot play - but we have other players. I trust the other players and we have a big squad because sometimes players are injured.
