Gallas targets January title win
Gallas said: "If we can carry on like we have started this season we will
practically be champions in January."
He added: "If we can do that it will give us a good chance to concentrate more
on the Champions League."
Gallas admitted: "Our aim is to win in Europe, especially after getting knocked
out in the semi-final two years in a row, because we know the Premiership will
be ours sooner or later."
The French defender is confident Chelsea can triumph at Liverpool on Sunday,
despite being held to a draw in Wednesday's Champions League clash.
He said: "I still have fresh memories of our European semi-final defeat last
season. So, for us, any confrontation with Liverpool is more than a game.
"Liverpool's forwards are dangerous but they're not as assertive as last
season. I don't know why they don't play Djibril Cisse more often."

Gallas has been delighted with the start Chelsea have made in their quest to
become back-to-back champions for the first time.
"We know it won't be easy but we want to add our eighth consecutive win in the
league and if we can do that at a stadium like Anfield it would be confirmation
that we are the best team in England," said Gallas.
