Ballack talks are on

Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon has confirmed that discussions are
taking place with Michael Ballack to bring the German international
midfielder to the club.
(光頭揚證實已與巴拉克進行轉會協商。)
“I would echo that we are in serious negotiations,” Kenyon has said in
reaction to claims by Ballack that talks are underway.
“Clearly he is an outstanding and big player so I think we are in good,
serious negotiations with him and would echo what he said. We are at a
good stage and I am delighted as to where we are.”

Ballack, the 29 year-old captain of German champions Bayern Munich has
indicated he will be moving clubs in the summer when his contract expires.

Since Euro 2004, Ballack has also been the captain of his national side
for whom he has played 63 times and scored 30 goals.

He played against Chelsea in last season’s Champions League, winning and
scoring a penalty in the Stamford Bridge leg.
