A full summer refurbishment of the Stamford Bridge store has taken place to recognise Chelsea’s new partnership with adidas and increase space for improved customer flow. Store designer Nick Blythe said: ‘With the exit and till-points moved now, we've opened up the store to allow people to circulate and we've put a lot more tills in so that people can get out of the store a lot quicker. There is now also a modern queuing system so it's always going to move quite fast. You can now come into the store for 10 minutes and get out in time for the match. ‘The upstairs has a bit of a wow-factor, with shiny ceilings and that's very much the corporate identity for adidas. The whole thing was a matter of marrying two major brands together, or three including Samsung, so that they could sit comfortably with each other.’ For anyone coming along today to buy the new kit and see the changes, the reopening will be celebrated with a chance to win prizes and meet Stamford the Lion. Opening times today are 9am to 8pm, then 9am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday, followed by 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
