Bridge wants to play

Wayne Bridge spent the second half of last term on loan at Fulham after
failing to hold down a regular spot at Stamford Bridge following his
recovery from a serious ankle injury.

The 25-year-old has returned to training with The Blues, but his future is
up in the air as Chelsea have been linked with a move for Arsenal's
England international left back Ashley Cole.

Bridge has been linked with a number of clubs this summer, including
Tottenham and Newcastle, and he has set his stall out to be a regular

"I just want to play some games," Bridge told Sky Sports News. "I don't
know what is going to happen, but I want to play a lot of games. We will

Bridge would not be drawn to comment on reports linking his England
team-mate Cole with a switch to West London.

"I will take it one day at a time and one game at a time, but I will cross
that bridge when I come it," he said about Cole.

Bridge believes Chelsea are looking good in training, as he added: "It is
good. Everyone has come back and looked sharp. Training is going really
well and it looks like everyone is getting fit quickly.
