The Frenchman has also admitted making a bid for fellow countryman William Gallas of Chelsea. Wenger 說，目前 A. Cole 現在處在無人管治的地帶。而 Wenger 也承認正在對 Gallas 出價。 Cole is a target for Chelsea chief Jose Mourinho, although the hugely-protracted move has stalled with the champions refusing to pay Arsenal's asking price. Wenger, who has confirmed an interest in Gallas, indicated that the West Londoners were not interested in losing the versatile defender, and does not know how the Cole saga will end.
