Chelsea trio on England Under 18 duty

Three of Chelsea's youngest professionals were in action for England Under
18s in an international on Thursday night. They could not prevent their
side slipping to a 2-0 defeat against France.
星期四晚上，切爾西三名年輕的職業球員參加了18歲以下的英格蘭隊比賽，英格蘭隊
2-0 輸給法國隊。
Scott Sinclair, Jack Cork and Ryan Bertrand played all 90 minutes of the
game at Hartlepool's Victoria Park. Sam Hutchinson was another Chelsea
player involved but he remained on the bench while Lee Sawyer, who is from
an age group one year younger than the others, was in the original squad
but the Chelsea first year scholar withdrew due to injury.
比賽在哈特爾浦市的維多利亞公園球場進行，辛克萊爾、柯克和貝爾川打滿了全場。

Chelsea provided more players to the team than any other club.

Sinclair started on the right of midfield, Cork — more usually a
centre-back or holding midfielder at Chelsea — was the right-back with
Bertrand at left-back. All three 17 year-olds have been regulars for
Chelsea Reserves this season.

Goals from France's David N'Gog in the 8th and 74th minutes decided the
friendly game, the second heavily deflected.

Just prior to the opener, Sinclair had forced the French keeper into a
save with a shot from a tight angle and two crosses from the Chelsea
youngster created England's other best chances in the first-half, the
second after a Bertrand ball forward.

After the break, Sinclair saw a cross deflected on target but saved.
