UEFA President denies Chelsea attack

UEFA President Lennart Johansson has denied media reports that he was
attacking Chelsea Football Club and owner Roman Abramovich.
歐足聯主席否認了芒果亂報。
Johannson was upset by the interpretation on his remarks this morning and
spoke directly to Chelsea FC Chief Executive Peter Kenyon to assure him he
was not singling out Chelsea or Abramovich for criticism regarding the
club's ownership structure.
他親自跟肯揚確認，沒有批評卻爾西或阿布。
The Swede, 77, next week, today stressed he is not referring to any
individual club in his comments following a press conference in London
yesterday.
Johansson said: "I'm saddened if my remarks are used against any
individual club because it's not for me to comment on any club compared to
another.

"As we look across the European football scene it's clear that there are
many issues and challenges that have to be faced.
"I have highlighted two of these (player behaviour and club ownership)
which are matters for the whole of the game to consider but I do not
regard this as a matter for one club or one individual.
"I do have concerns about the future direction of club ownership but we
have to be realistic about the realities of the market. The important
thing is to ensure good corporate governance and financial transparency.
These should be the aims of every professional football club."
Chelsea is one of the most financially transparent clubs in Europe,
publishing accounts and presenting them in a similar way to a publicly
quoted company on the Stock Exchange.
Johansson also distanced himself from comments regarding any possible
disciplinary proceedings against Chelsea as a result of events during the
match in Barcelona and any implied criticism of Jose Mourinho.

He stressed that the actions of Barcelona would also come under scrutiny.
Chelsea are likely to face a fine for getting 6 yellow cards as Champions
League rules state there is an automatic fine for 5 or more yellow cards
in one game.
雙方都會受到檢視。
"On the crucial issue of behaviour in the game I do think there were
issues at the recent Barcelona v Chelsea match which will need to be
looked at by the UEFA disciplinary bodies in relation to both clubs.
"It's a matter for the UEFA disciplinary process, not for me personally.
It's not my intention to single out any individual."
這場比賽要不要罰要怎麼罰是紀律委員會的事，還是跟他無關。
