HUTCHINSON AGREES LONG CONTRACT
Young players produced by the Chelsea Academy continue to sign long-term deals
with the news today (Monday) that Sam Hutchinson has signed a new four-year
contract.
The deal follows on from Scott Sinclair signing a four-year contract last week.
Hutchinson, who turned 18 earlier this month, was part of the first team
pre-season trip to the United States, having made his debut as a substitute
against Everton at the end of last season, his one appearance so far.
Capable of playing at right-back or in central defence, the youngster has been
spoken about by Jose Mourinho as a strong candidate to become a permanent
member of the Chelsea first team picture.
