New Academy scholars introduced

As pre-season got underway this week at Cobham, 14 youngsters returned and
officially signed as full-time first-year scholars for the 2015/16 season.
Nine featured for the youth team last season and they will all now step up
to work under the management of Under-18 manager Joe Edwards.
季前集訓已經開始了，今夏共有14人成為一年級生，其中九人上季為青年軍出賽過。
With many having progressed through the Academy system from a very young
age, including eight of the 14 who have been at the club since the Under-9
age group or younger, assistant head of youth development Jim Fraser gives
the official Chelsea website the lowdown on the new recruits.

Nathan Baxter (U8血統的門將，腳下功夫好，反應敏捷，上賽季末已出戰U18)
'Nathan has been with us since the Under-8 age group and, like many of
this year's intake, came through our development centre programme. He's a
talented goalkeeper who is good with his feet, very agile and a good
shot-stopper, he made his youth team debut at the end of last season.’
Trevoh Chalobah (U9血統，查洛巴的弟弟，主打右、中後衛，兼差中場，已出戰U21)
'Trevoh is the younger brother of Nathaniel and joined us as an Under-9.
He has played predominantly in defence throughout his schoolboy years,
mostly at right-back and centre-back but also occasionally in midfield.
Captain of our Under-16 side last season, he also wore the armband for
England at the same age group as they won the Montaigu Tournament in
April. He featured on 10 occasions for our youth team and made his
Under-21 debut.'
Joseph Colley (今夏從瑞典來的強力後衛，左右皆可，喜歡帶球出擊，瑞典隊長)
'Joseph is a defender from Sweden who joins us this summer from IF
Brommapojkarna in his homeland. He's a right-sided, powerful defender,
comfortable also playing on the left, who likes to bring the ball out of
defence. He's also captained Sweden at his age group.'
Cole Dasilva (盧頓三兄弟之一，之前打左翼，現為左、右後衛，已為青年軍出戰)
'Cole signed as an Under-12 along with his older brother Jay and twin
brother Rio from Luton Town. Originally deployed as a left-winger, he's
now used predominantly as a full-back and can play either side due to his
quality with both feet. He's represented both England and Wales at the
Under-16 age group and played nine times for our youth team last season.'
Josh Grant (U8血統，從前鋒改造成強力鏟球的全能後衛，上賽季已出戰24次)
'Josh joined us as an Under-8 and liked to play up front in his younger
years before we saw his defensive qualities and moved him further back.
He's a committed, tough-tackling, powerful defender who has featured
across the backline for the youth team last season, making a total of 24
appearances.'
Malakai Hinckson-Mars (來自巴內特，速度快的攻擊型球員，中、邊皆可)
'Malakai signed at the start of his Under-16 season from Barnet and is a
quick, attacking player who likes to play through the middle but is
equally capable out wide.'
Dan Kemp (U8血統，邊路球員，也可以出任前腰)
'Dan is another player who joined as an Under-8 through our development
centre programme. He's an attacking player who plays mostly in wide areas
but has featured in the 'number 10' role at times as well.'
Jacob Maddox (來自布里斯托，中場球員，可打前腰，喜歡帶球出擊、創造機會)
'Jacob signed from Bristol City at the end of his Under-14 year. He is an
attacking midfield player who can play in the 'number 10' position but
mainly features slightly deeper and enjoys running forward with the ball
at his feet. Another player who creates lots of chances, he has
represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 level and made four
appearances for our youth team last season.'
Luke McCormick (U8血統，之前是前鋒，現在打邊路、中場中路和右後衛)
'Luke has been training with us since he was six and signed as an Under-8
through our development centre programme. Predominantly a striker in his
early time at the club, he has featured in a variety of positions more
recently, including out wide, in central midfield and at right-back.'
Mason Mount (U8血統，B2B型中場，進球能力很強，不怕拼搶，上季已出戰U18)
'Mason is another player who has been training at the club since he was
six and joined us at the Under-8 age group. He's always been an attacking
midfield player, capable of playing in any of the central midfield roles
and particularly strong at going from box-to-box. He has scored a lot of
goals at schoolboy level but is also combative and isn't afraid of a
tackle. He's represented England at Under-16 level, most recently in the
Montaigu Tournament success, and played seven times for our Under-18s last
season.'
Richard Nartey (U9血統，速度快的持球型右、左後衛，上賽季已出戰U18)
'Richard joined us as an Under-9 and is a quick, composed ball-playing
defender. He mainly plays on the right side of the back four, is
comfortable on the left too and made three appearances for the youth team
last season.'
Harvey St Clair (U8血統，左、右邊鋒，喜歡帶球，上賽季因傷缺席，蘇格蘭國腳)
'Harvey signed as an Under-8 and has tended to play wide-left or
wide-right, from where he likes to run forward dangerously with the ball
at his feet. A Scotland Under-16 and Under-17 international, he missed a
lot of last season through injury and will be looking to get a good
pre-season under his belt ahead of the new campaign.'
Jared Thompson (來自史雲頓的門將，腳下功夫不錯，上賽季出戰U18和U19)
'Jared is a goalkeeper who signed from Swindon Town as an Under-13 and
featured for our youth team and Under-19s often last season, making 17
appearances in total. A good shot-stopper who is very comfortable with the
ball at his feet, he also featured for the England Under-16s at the
Montaigu Tournament and has represented Northern Ireland as well.'
Ike Ugbo (U10血統，上賽季才固定為前鋒，進11球，已出戰U18到U21，英格蘭國腳)
'Ike joined us an Under-10 and, although now a striker, he spent the
majority of his younger schoolboy years playing in a number of different
positions. It was only at the start of last season that he nailed down his
position as a striker and he featured often for our youth team, scoring 11
goals in 18 appearances, while also making debuts for the Under-19s and
Under-21s. He's represented England at Under-17 level and was part of the
squad that went to the European Championship finals at that age group this
summer.'
Professional signings
Elsewhere in the Academy, five of last season's Under-17 crop marked their
return from the summer break by signing their first professional contracts
at the club. Defenders Jay Dasilva and Fikayo Tomori joined Hubert
Adamczyk, Miro Muheim and Charlie Wakefield in putting pen to paper.
