近日，圖赫爾在採訪中談到了此前瓜迪奧拉有關“全英國都支持利物浦奪冠”的
言論，他表示此言論他十分認同。
圖赫爾在採訪中將克洛普稱為“抗壓大師 (master of being the underdog)”，
並高度讚揚了克洛普憑藉他的個人能力收獲了來自全英國對利物浦的支持。
此前，瓜迪奧拉曾表示：英國的每個人都希望本賽季的利物浦能夠獲得前所未有
的成就 — 四冠王。圖赫爾對此表示：“我能感受到全英國有很多人都支持利物浦，
我能理解。”
“無容置疑，人們對利物浦的支持與克洛普個人有關，但總體來說還是和利物浦

While not passing comment on whether he thinks it is something that should
or should not have been said, Thomas Tuchel has admitted he understands
why Pep Guardiola said earlier in the week that everyone in the country
supports Liverpool.
Those words from the Manchester City manager were linked to the ongoing
title race between his side and Jorgen Klopp's, a contest that takes a
break this weekend for Liverpool when they face Chelsea in today's FA Cup
final.
It is the second Wembley cup final meeting for these two teams this
season, with only a penalty shoot-out separating the sides in Liverpool's
favour back in February. Tuchel, of course, knows the Reds' boss well with
their careers having followed similar paths in Germany.
'Jurgen Klopp is the master of being the underdog,' declared Tuchel as he
considered Guardiola's viewpoint and today's match.
'He can talk you into Liverpool being an underdog against Villarreal and
against Benfica, and that it is a miracle how they make it to even draw
against them. He does it a lot of times and that's part of where the
sympathy comes from.

'There's nothing to be jealous of from my side. Klopp is a fantastic guy
and a funny guy, one of the very, very best coaches in the world. And
that's what he does.
'When he trained Dortmund, the whole country [of Germany] loved Dortmund
so now he trains Liverpool, the whole country loves Liverpool and it's a
big, big credit to him.

'This is what you deal with when you play against them. It's always like
this, but it's also the fun part. So if we are the bad guys, no problem.
We don't want to have the sympathy of the country today. We want to have
the trophy.'
Tuchel went on to explain what he believes is needed to deal with the
situation he outlined.
'You have to stand up against it and just be self-confident and do your
thing, and do not get influenced. I was the guy after him at Dortmund and
it is not always easy.

'But I have nothing but the biggest respect for him and what he's doing.
He is at one with the supporters and with the club, and he is the face and
charismatic leader of this development of this huge club.
'It's a club with a huge reputation worldwide so my players have to step
up against it and I have to step up against it. It's not only on the field
but also on the sideline where you cannot get bullied by anybody.'
On the pitch, Chelsea have matched Liverpool this season with three draws
before that one penalty shoot-out, and Tuchel has been asked whether the
Merseysiders' high line defensively provides a means to do them damage.
'They allow chances, and we proved it,' is his view. 'We had big chances
in the Carabao Cup final but it's their approach. Liverpool is the team
that by far the most puts the strikers of the other team offside, so it's
not easy.
'They play this high line because there's always pressure on the ball,
them working hard and counter-pressing and pressing. It's not easy to
exploit these spaces because you need perfect timing, you need the
connection between the guy with the pass and the guy who receives it, and
then you have to be precise and you're constantly under pressure.

success they have with it. It's their style of playing and it's very
difficult to find solutions but like always, you can find solutions if you
have the perfect day - and we're hoping for that.'

Chelsea meet Liverpool again at Wembley on today hoping to go one better
than we managed in the Carabao Cup final in February, and Thomas Tuchel
believes if it is anywhere near the standard of that match then fans are
in for a highly entertaining watch.

So often when trophies are on the line, finals at the national stadium can
become tight and cagey matches with neither team wanting to commit or take
too many risks, though this cannot be said for February's League Cup
contest.
The high-intensity approach from both sides at Wembley resulted in an
entertaining and enthralling encounter, with perhaps the most surprising
aspect being that it ended goalless, even after extra time.
It was a match that even Thomas Tuchel has admitted he enjoyed watching,
though he conceded that this is a rare occurrence when he is in the
Chelsea dugout.
'No, not really!' Tuchel joked, when asked if he ever manages to enjoy the
spectacle. 'The last five minutes at Leeds when it was 3-0, I managed to
relax a little bit but it is hard.
'I was aware, for example, in the Carabao Cup final that I was on the
side-lines of an incredible and intense match, with high-level football.
It was one of the best I have ever witnessed at the side-lines,' Tuchel
added.

'It can go in one second in the wrong direction and they can grab a lead,
it can happen in a blink of an eye, so you are totally on the edge every
single minute.
'You are aware if it is a quality match, but then also if it's not a
quality match. The level of enjoyment from when you arrive in the stadium,
and watch the warm-up from the stands, and then at the end you analyse the
match, it is very different.'
Tuchel also commented on what he believes defines his Chelsea side, as he
goes in search of his first domestic trophy since arriving in January last
year.
'I hope people feel the energy. I hope they know we have a good mix of
Academy boys and international players. We are a strong and competitive
squad.

'Before I arrived, I had the impression Chelsea are fierce competitors,
that they're tough to play against and maybe they're not always the
nicest team to play. This is what we try to implement, a certain style of
play, and then we need consistency. It was quite attractive over many
weeks and months, but lately we lost a bit of momentum. We try to win
football games in our way. We are one group with one idea.'
