[情報] 庫庫雷利亞:適應新位子很辛苦但是會努力下去
Marc Cucurella believes our come-from-behind victory at Burnley is another
sign of the growing confidence in Mauricio Pochettino's squad.
The Blues fell behind in Saturday's Premier League encounter at Turf Moor as
a low drive from Wilson Odobert went through the legs of Cucurella and left
goalkeeper Robert Sanchez unsighted.
Fighting back to reclaim victory is never a simple task – and it is one
Chelsea have struggled to do this season. Yet after Raheem Sterling forced an
own goal from Ameen Al-Dakhil shortly before the interval, we took full
control.
Soon after the restart, Sterling won a penalty that was converted by Cole
Palmer. It was our summer signing's first goal in blue. Sterling then fired
home and third and played a key role in our sublime fourth.
The England international played an excellent cross-field pass for Palmer,
whose pass inside found Nicolas Jackson. The striker neatly shifted the ball
onto his left foot and swept his finish behind James Trafford to round off an
impressive comeback.
Reflecting on the victory, Cucurella said: 'The reaction of the team after
conceding the goal was very good. We created chances and after half time, we
were very focused on what we needed to do.
'We scored early [in the second half] and then dominated the game. It's a
very good win for us because we were confident and scored a lot of goals.
'In other games, maybe we lose confidence [after going behind], but today we
followed the game plan, kept building, and kept fighting. The confidence in
the team is better after two wins in a row.
'Today, maybe we got a little bit of luck with the first goal, we’ve not had
that in other games. Then we continue. We believe in ourselves and the plan
and we have a really important three points.'
Cucurella started his third match in succession at Turf Moor; all those
outings have come at right-back in the absence of the injured Reece James and
the suspended Malo Gusto.
It's not a role the 25-year-old has previously performed for Chelsea, but it
is one he has adapted to swiftly. 'It’s a little bit difficult,' the
Spaniard explained. 'Really it depends on the actions.
'The big demands are the same, it’s just I'm the opposite side. I try to do
my best, help the team, and I think my teammates help me as well. So we need
to continue in this way and win games.
