A group of 27 Chelsea players will depart London for Sydney today as our pre-season tour of Australia and Asia gets underway. The trip will provide Blues manager Xabi Alonso with invaluable time with his squad on and off the training pitch, and five matches are scheduled against new and familiar opposition, all of which will be broadcast live on CFC+. A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers provide the first test, with the game taking place at Accor Stadium on Tuesday 28 July (kick-off 7.45pm AEST). The same venue then hosts the latest installment of a storied rivalry, as the Blues take on Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday 1 August (kick-off 7.45pm AEST). It's then on to Hong Kong to take on Serie A giants Juventus on Wednesday 5 August (kick-off 7.30pm HKT), before another Italian club awaits in Jakarta, Indonesia, as we face AC Milan at GBK Stadium Jakarta on Saturday 8 August (kick-off 7pm WIB). The tour concludes in Malaysia as play Johor Darul Ta'zim at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Sunday 9 August (kick-off 8pm MYT). For full ticket and hospitality information, click here.
