Thomas said disgruntled Knicks forward Antonio Davis -- who was traded to
New York with Curry -- is being fined for each day he remains away from the
team.
Davis, who made it known how unhappy he was to have been dealt from the
Bulls, reported to the Knicks on Oct. 4. He left the next day to return to
Chicago to be with his family while his mother-in-law had surgery. He is
expected back today.
"We're sensitive to it,'' Knicks president Isiah Thomas said of Davis'
feelings. "He understands that he will be fined.''
Thomas also insisted that the Knicks would not buy out the final season on
Davis' contract, which is worth $13.8 millon.
"This isn't charity,'' Thomas said.
There is a possibility the Knicks could release Davis at the end of training
camp. He would have to wait 20 days before re-signing with the Bulls

而如果A.Davis想要回到公牛隊，必須依照規定於20天後，
公牛才可以重簽他。
