Noah won't play the summer league
Joakim Noah had his ailing right rotator cuff examined by Brian Cole.
The Bulls will hold their lottery pick out of summer-league action in Orlando
and Salt Lake City, taking a conservative approach with an injury over which
they hold no long-term concerns.
"He'll travel to be part of the experience, but he's just going to get
treatment because we're going to rest it for the next month so he has his
best chance moving forward," general manager John Paxson said. "[Surgery] is
a last resort. Our doctors are confident if we go this approach, he'll be
fine."
The Bulls, like all teams, viewed magnetic resonance imaging tests of what is
believed to be a slight tear in the shoulder before last Thursday's draft.
That Noah accepted all predraft workouts while in pain pleased rather than
put off Bulls management.
"A lot of guys shy away from those things," Paxson said. "I think you can
tell he's about winning and competing."
Noah suffered his injury in February.
簡單的說就是沒法在夏季聯盟看到他上場
