Orlando Magic signs Quentin Richardson—source http://goo.gl/GObA ahoo Sports is reporting the Orlando Magic has agreed to terms with shooting guard Quentin Richardson, which could mean they're not going to match the Bulls' offer to J.J. Redick. The Magic had seven days to match the Bulls' three-year, $20 million offer to Redick on Friday, but with the reported signing of Richardson it's looking less likely that will happen. Magic general manager Otis Smith told the Orlando Sentinel on Saturday that he probably would match the offer but wasn't sure yet. According to a source, the deal for Redick is front-loaded -- meaning the highest salary is in the first year. That's a problem for the Magic, which already has committed more than $80 million in salary next season. The luxury-tax threshold is $70 million.
