Bulls' Boozer files for divorce
Bulls forward Carlos Boozer has filed for a dissolution of marriage from his
wife, Cindy, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.
Proceedings for the divorce began Aug. 13, according to Miami-Dade County
circuit court records.
A Bulls spokeswoman told the paper the team had no comment about Boozer's
pending divorce.
Boozer underwent successful surgery Tuesday to repair a broken right pinkie
finger.

Bulls hoping Boozer returns sooner than expected
Carlos Boozer underwent surgery on his broken right pinky finger Tuesday
morning and Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said he is hopeful the All-Star forward
might be able to return earlier than first expected.
"From what we heard (the surgery) went well," Thibodeau said after Tuesday's
shoot-a-round practice at the Berto Center. "So we are encouraged about that.
So now it's just a matter of him going through his rehab."
Asked about Boozer's projected return, Thibodeau replied, "We're not quite
sure. It could be anywhere from six to eight to 10 weeks. Once he gets his
cast off and all that ... his conditioning should be OK because he can run
and do all that stuff. But then his hand has to show the ability to take a
hit and all that. So we're thinking 6-to-8 weeks."
