'If we stick together, we will have a better chance of doing something
special'
While Bulls fans experienced an emotional roller coaster in the first round
of the Eastern Conference playoffs against the Pacers, Bulls players say they
bonded during the five-game series victory.
"We learned that it doesn't matter what people say," center Joakim Noah said.
"The only thing that matters is what we think of each other.
"We're not worried about expectations. We're not worried about teammates
getting criticized. We stick together through good times and through hard
times. And we understand that there is going to be adversity. But if we stick
together, we will have a better chance of doing something special."
Word on the street: Mayor Richard M. Daley wagered a package of local food
products Friday with the mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed. "We're proud of the
way the Bulls are representing both the great tradition of the franchise and
all the people of Chicago," Daley said in a City Hall news conference.
