Chicago Bulls forward Taj Gibson engaged in contract extension talks Taj Gibson is one of very few players to which the Chicago Bulls have offered an olive branch. The same team that allowed the majority of its tough “bench mob” to scatter elsewhere is engaged in talks to extend Gibson beyond his rookie contract. In those talks, an $8 million gap remains between what Gibson and the Bulls see as a suitable contract offer.
