Report: Salary cap for 2016–17 will be $94 million
The NBA salary cap for the 2016–17 season will be set at $94 million,
reports The Vertical’s Shams Charania.
根據The Vertical記者Shams Charania的報導，2016-17球季的薪資上限將設在9400萬元
Earlier this season the cap was expected to be set around $92 million. The
figure, which is calculated based on the league’s basketball-related income,
will be finalized in early July.
在今年球季稍早，薪資上限原本是預估為92M
這項數字是根據聯盟的籃球相關收入(BRI)來計算，將會在7月初確定金額
The salary cap is spiking this off-season, thanks in large part to the NBA’s
new media contracts, which are much richer than in previous years. The salary
cap for the current season is $70 million, which means the cap will jump
nearly $24 million.
薪資上限將會在休季期間大幅上升
這很大程度是歸因於NBA新的轉播合約，使得球團比起前幾年變得更加富有

The large jump means many teams will have lots of salary space this
off-season, when players such as Kevin Durant, Al Horford and Mike Conley are
expected to test free agency.

The new NBA league year begins in July.
