According to the release "Saupold has been the ABL's best and most consistent hurler all season, leading the league in innings pitched (70.0) and posting a record-setting 1.41 ERA. He struck out 53 and allowed just 43 hits and two home runs, while issuing 22 walks to make him a favourite for the Pitcher of the Year award. There's some projection left in his frame, but not a ton. Best you could hope for is a solid-average heater with good life. His slider and change-up both flash as average and the scouts I've heard from so far prefer the slider. it shows good bite and depth at the plate. He has good arm speed on his change-up. Generally good command of all three pitches for his age but he needs some development.
