Right-hander Yu Darvish will renew his interesting relationship with Boston catcher A.J. Pierzynski on Friday in a start against the Red Sox at Globe Life Park. 周五在主場將可以重拾與紅襪捕手AJP跟他的有趣重逢。 Darvish was 6-5 with a 2.80 ERA in 17 starts with Pierzynski at catcher last season. Pierzynski caught both of Darvish’s no-hit bids against Houston and was ejected in the second try by plate umpire Ron Kulpa for complaining about the strike zone. 跟AJP合作17次，數字是6-5,2.80 ERA，二次對太空人將近無安打比賽。第二次還幫達爾跟主審吵好球帶被趕出場。 Darvish and Pierzynski also famously clashed on the mound during a damaging loss at Oakland on Sept. 4.
