ARLINGTON —
Yu Darvish returns to the Rangers Saturday night and tickets are going fast.
As of Monday evening, about 7,000 tickets remain with 38,000 already sold for
Darvish’s first start with the Rangers since August 2014. The Rangers host the
Pittsburgh Pirates at 6:05 p.m. at Globe Life Park.
Darvish had Tommy John surgery in March 2015 and missed the entire season. He
made five rehab starts in the minor leagues, the last coming Sunday with Double
A Frisco.
If Darvish’s long-awaited return isn’t enough to get you out to the ballpark,
the Rangers have a couple promotions that may float your boat.
Former Rangers players will be signing autographs from 6 to 6:45 p.m. near the
Budweiser Bowtie Plaza and the first 15,000 fans 14 and older receive a
PowerAde Rangers beach towel.
